Nothing quite feels more luxurious in winter than velvet, and this 5mm wide velvet piping is just simply divine! We love adding it to winter hats around a brim or backing onto a petersham ribbon headband. It's uses span further than millinery of course, and would look equally stunning in the dressmaking and interior worlds. 

Velvet portion of the insertion measures 5mm wide (0.19 inches) with a total width of 11mm (0.43 inches) including the satin insertion.
