Rounded face band, 6.3mm width, with raised rectangular bezel with integral diminutive key bit.  These rings were used to open jewelry boxes, the ownership of which was prestigious. As a result, many were made for show only and worn where no such box existed. This example was likely a prestige statement for a woman of fashion.
