The T-34, made during the the second world war, was the most influential tank design of its time. It signified a radical leap forward in tank design. Its superiority did not last long however. While the T-34 went through improvements in 1943, Germany were creating tank designs like the Panther that surpassed the T-34 in firepower, protection and mobility.
